He sees us
navigating our lives
with many longings
in the midst of clamour

We long
for the transformative power
of the one who comes
in the name of the Lord

He longs
for the transformative power
of those who love God
love their neighbours
and love them selves

And our longings will meet
at the foot of the cross

Hosanna in the highest !
